What is HAVS?

Hand Arm Vibration is the effect that vibratory equipment has on the hands and arms. Exposure can lead to damage to the circulation and finger blanching.

What does HAVS mean to my business?

The ‘Control of Vibration at Work Act 2005’ requires risk assessment, monitoring and management of vibration generated by hand held power tools and equipment.
